Now you can watch all tutorials about WeTek OS (based on Android), OpenELEC and much more on a simple page.

You just need to select a category on the left side and click on the title of a tutorial to select another from the same category. You can also search by text and language, both options in the top right corner.

Any One I just received my WeTek this morning and I activated on line then when I go to the player it wants me to activate again but when I enter the code and e-mail it just sits there saying it is loading but does nothing. Any Ideas thanks Jimgood.

What do you mean you activated online?  From a PC or through the Wetek device?

I did the Activate On PC then got an E-mail to verify my E-mail which I did. My on lone account says it is activated. But when I go to the receiver and try to access TV or WeTek play It asks me to activate when I try it just says downloading and stays there.

Ok then you just need to use your user name and password then and not the number on the membership card.  Go to Settings on main screen(Left hand side), then Android settings, scroll down to Wetek Services, and then go into  login to Wetek services.  Save your user name and password there.

If your YouTube isn't working then you have to update that in the Google Play store in the APPS section.  For that you will need a Google account of some sort like a gmail one.  If you have a Google email address you can use that.  It is the same procedure as an Android phone for installing or updating APPS.

I did try that earlier but when I did it says can't establish reliable contact to server. Plus I just ried right now.

what kind of a connection to the internet does your Wetek have? do you know the specs? is it via wi-fi, or ethernet? ....sounds like you may have a problem with that connection setup?

Are you logged onto your WIFI in the Wetek?  You can be logged into your WIFI(router) but you may not have internet access.

Another thing is your answers do not include much detail.  It would be a bit more beneficial in helping you if more information is provided.

I am logged in the weTek like I said the signal is 100% and there isn't much more to add I went to log in to Google play store like you said and used my login name and password then tried to go to google play store but it gave me a message of can't make a reliable connection to server but like I said the WiFi is 100%. When I pick on TV it gives me a error message to login and activate but it is activated . When I click on Android service the screen opens and says connected and my WiFi link. When I tried to log on to Google it said can't establish a reliable connection to server and it might be temporary or the Android devise may not be provisioned for data services.

something like that happened to me.. I did the sign-up stuff from my computer. And I thought the box was logged in too, but it wasn't. I had to enter my email and password for the box to start working properly, it would kinda work without being logged-in, that's why I thought I was. But then I found out I wasn't and went through it again and waited til it acknoledged that I was logged in.  Sorry, I don't remember the details but, point is, I wasn't signed in to the box... also, if you can connect it via a cable might help at least til you get it signed in.

Thanks I was thinking about connecting via Ethernet cable so I guess I will try it thanks. How long did you have to wait for it to acknowledge it was logged in thanks.

I switched to Ethernet cable and went back to online activation and trie to activate again and it said code was invalid, I have e-mailed support and am done for the day 10hrs wasted today. thanks everyone who tried to help me.

You actually do not need to activate the Wetek Play for it to work at all and you can actually skip that step in the setup.  The only thing the activation does is give you access to their free list of IPTV channels in Wetek Theater.  All you need is a working internet connection.  Everything else should work like web browsing, Kodi, Skype, and YouTube.   YouTube may require an update in Android for it to play videos as they have made changes recently.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
