Just want to be sure, on some post RTV will not come in on a Ultra.

My quality is low with this dish setup as low 50% to 60% on some sat’s, get most channels

On one night at 137W I picked up RTV for about 30 minute’s.

Will tweaking the dish help or is the ultra a No Go for RTV.

Oldhat;  It depends on what part of the country you are in.  I'm out in California, and Amc-7 is good for me, but Ses-2 is only good in the early mornings.   I have  an AZ prem Hd, so your box will recieve ok.  If you can tweek the dish it should help.  I have to have a quality of about 56 before I can lock the rtv's on Ses-2  Jess
9ft.button hook mesh HtoH mount; 4dtv922 C/KU feed horn w/ slaved AZ prem, looped pan 9500, and a Manhattan at the end.. Got a philips suround sound in there and SONY BRAVIA TV

I just noticed this thread from last month and thought I should chime in.  I have the Azbox Premium HD and also have the Azbox Premium HD+.  The Premium HD works very well with RTV.  The Premium HD+ does not work (it glitches badly and doesn't seem to maintain a constant quality signal).

My understanding is that the Azbox Ultra has the same tuner as the Azbox Premium HD+, and will not work well with RTV.  However the Axbox Premium HD (and the Azbox Elite) do work well with the tuners that they have.

Here in Central Alabama my Ultra will not lock them, but at 137 I have a lot of tree issues. My new Prof 7301 locks them no problem. I can get brief quality indications on the ultra, but nowhere enough to actually lock the signal.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
