My remote took small tumble from the recliner to a hard wood floor and quit working. I replaced the batteries while checking to see if they just jarred out of place. the only thing that works is the on / off button, I tried a recalibration , but still  nothing. the small green light comes on when depressing buttons. any suggestions ? In the mean time I'm using a Logitech wireless keyboard with the built on mouse pad, I just plugged in the USB widget in the back of the unit and it works flawlessly.

Inspect the circuit board for any shorts or breaks in continuity. A good multimeter is helpful for this.

That and use the camera viewfinder from an iphone or android phone.
while pressing buttons, if there is any infrared light emitting from the LEDs of the remote as ya press buttons you'll be able to see it using the viewfinder of the phone.

The infrared works as he can turn the unit on and off.  The remote only uses infrared for those two functions and is RF for the rest.  You would likely have to take the remote apart and see if anything is broken or out of place like the board not being aligned with the buttons.   Otherwise it looks like you would need to purchase another remote.

The Remote is indeed RF and not IR or BT.

I Would go through the Re-sync process again, but this time i would remove the RF unit (usually inside of the box) start the re-sync, and only after the lights start to blink, you plug the RF dongle back in a USB port.

If this is not working, try the PC method ( connect it to a PC and try to change the volume )

If still nothing of this works, you should contact their support, and activate warranty =)

Cheers

The remote is IR and RF.  It uses the IR portion just to turn the Wetek on and off only.  Once the Wetek is on the RF takes over.  Yes it isn't Bluetooth as I stated.

From the Wetek support  Forum from their support team.  WeTek RCU uses 2 transmissions technologies, RF to all keys except power which use IR.

Yes it uses IR turn on/off the box as the RF is not possible.
Since the RF is connected by USB, once the box turns off all power to USB ports is shut down, therefore impossible to turn on with remote.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
