Anyone know of radio feeds for sixties and 70s rock, and country music.  I'm getting a little miffed with my satellite provider and may decide that it's not worth the increa$e$. The price keeps going up and there's less to watch so when I cancel the service I lose the music.

OTA for both radio and TV here isn't a good option.

There's also the former Muzak channels on SES3 @ 103W (12145 V 20000). Those channels will have to be manually entered though since they don't scan in.

They are ACM /VCM so most FTA receivers will not get them properly.  [frown]

I would suggest trying 105w  3740 H 30000 for DMX music channels that will play on most FTA receivers.

I am listening to the 103W Ku radio music channels presently via an old GeoSat Pro 1200 sat receiver. It has an easy to  use manual enter point via the screen and the remote control. News and music both from the one sat location and Ku equipment. Simple and easy to do. NBC news plus Cozi and a ton of music channels. A fixed dish location if one desires real simple to use.

I've been ale to manually enter the APIDs ( listed on another string of postings) on 103 and am able to listen to the music channels.  I'm running a KU band set up so I can't get the 105w  3740 H 30000, but thanks for the info.

Thank you for the help!

I may be wrong, but there's a bunch on Amc 18 @3740, 30000 H, that scan in with  no problems and also stingray at 3724/4200/H on intelsat 34@55w..These are rock, hard rock, classic rock...and others 60s and 70s.

Also, don't forget that you can receive the audio channels on the DTV DSS transponders at 101W with
* an appropriate LNBF (old DTV or DN LNBF or Invacom quad, etc)
* a computer card capable of DSS (Twinhan 1020a, Genpix SW1, TBS-6925 or 5925?, etc)
* a computer program capable of DSS (TSREADER)

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
