Does anybody know how to delete/remove a satellite from this receiver.
Not just gray out or remove from the list, but delete it entirely?

a editor is what you can upload you're sat and channel data on a usb stick, then edit it with a puter. I just look at their site and do not see the editor listed any more for the 9200, but as good as they are for support I wood send them a E-mail and ask them if they could send it to you.
here's their link.

Go to the Installation menu. Choose satellite setup. Click ok.  Scroll down to Edit TP/Satellite. Click ok. Highlight the one you want to delete, click ok. Highlight delete and click ok. Click ok again. Done

You have to make sure the one you are going to delete is UNchecked. Otherwise, delete will be grayed out. To do that, go into Antenna setup, Highlight the one you want to delete, push the left arrow and the check will disappear. If you make a mistake and uncheck one you didn't mean to, just push the right arrow to check it.

Hey boomer thanks for your reply, but I tried what you said and that doesn't "remove" the satellite name from the receiver.  I see how to remove it from the list by unchecking it.  Also to remove a satellite from showing in the antenna setup, by going under "Edit Tp/Satellite"
But I am looking at how to "delete" a satellite that is listed under "Edit TP/Satellite"
When I say "delete".....I'm not looking to gray it out....the way the receiver wants to if you choose the delete option.  I want to erase it from the receiver to make room to add other satellites as needed.  This receiver obviously has a limit to how many satellites it can keep in it's list.  And the only way to avoid maxing that out is to keep renaming satellites.  But I would like to find out a way to remove all satellite names from the unit entirely in order to avoid having to keep renaming existing satellites.  Looking to erasing everything and add my own from scratch.  Sorry for all the text here, but I'm not sure if I'm explaining what is need to do correctly.
Thanks to all who are trying to help me.

I understand. Unfortunately, I don't know what you can do.

Petawha2  My list has 78 default sats in it that can be renamed so in essence you could have a new list of 78 sats by renaming them. If you need more you can add with the "new" sat option at the bottom of the list but I am not sure of how many new sats are allowed to be added. You can delete any of the new sats that you add to the list by deleting all of the transponders from that sat and it will disappear from the list bringing the list back to the default 78 sats. This would be one option that would allow you to have a list of 80+ sats.

Option 2 You can use the 9200 HD editor. Just insert a usb go to the menu/usb and hit the green key.
Open this file in the editor and highlight any sat you wish to delete, right tic it and delete it. when done rename the file and load it back to the 9200.

I don't know. I've ran it it Windows only. Someone else may be able to answer that.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
