I did a firmware upgrade about 4 years ago on my openbox s9 version,( C2HS2-11-08-24:0679CMT ) and it basically turned the s9 into a s10. It changed the channel list from 1 row of channels to 3 rows of channels and also added Accurate scan into the satellite scan choices. Its worked perfect ever since.

I recall trying that one too, and at the time it would freeze on the ION Mux.. Gotta be at least 5, maybe 6 years since then but..
Other people here would report similar freezing/lockup on that mux.
No freezing with the linked fw then or now.

I'm using C2HS2-11-08-24:0679CMT on my S9, it works fine here..only maybe one reboot every few months, love the "accurate scan" option, it seems to scan in sigs that are so low that they barely lock, but they do scan in...and the wife is used to the three-row display...can't go back now lol!

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
