Jeff if you are not aware?
Go to plugins
click on MyMetrixLite
click on Weather settings
click on MetrixWeather ID
and enter your ID found here:

http://metrixweather.open-store.net/

Enter your zip code onto the Find Location space and hit Search
Use that number for the ID

Also you can change the Unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit

And also back where you get to Weather settings
Next on the list is Other settings
In Other settings you can get it to show more info on your screen by changing a few no to yes
Look it over and see if you want some changes or not?

Finally figgured it out For 2160 you need the 4K HDMI cable and set your settings to

automatic resolution to disabled and then set mode to 2160p30 refresh rate multi and the last setting to 12bit 4:2:0/4:2:2 no pip and it will work on 2160

Hope I helped some one

I have a Vizio 65 inch 240 hert tv

Now for kicks, keep your settings the same and change the cable to a conventional (non-4K) HDMI cable and see if your video looks the same.

That would be the next logical step just to see if the 4k cable thing is a hype, and would help out others in the future.

I've been using regular HDMI cables with no problems that I've noticed.  One is about a 25' cable running from my computer downstairs up to my TV.

Does anyone know what the "2160p30" refresh rate means?

I don't see any options in the receiver to set for 30Hz, only for 50 or 60Hz.

I have lots of learning to do with this new stuff.

Is anyone having fun yet?

Thanks,

Rick

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
