Anyone have a good channel list to channel name? They shuffled their music channels months ago and lyngsat still is not updated. Tnx trying to avoid recreating the wheel if someone here has done this already.

My list was old, so I updated it.
I used Master Maps a long time ago, so my maps don't have all the channels programmed in.

Lyngsat shows this as Stingray Music not DMX.
DMX used to be on Intelsat 21 in DCII, but no more.
In any case, it's at 3859 H 3330 DVB-S2 8psk 5/6 Pilot On.

Edit: never mind found them on 55w too bad its three degrees past my motor limit haha ugh might slide the actuator tonight.

By that sat do you mean 125west? It would be great to have another set of dvb or dvbs2 music channels. I see mention of lyngsat above but dont see them. Thanks

Thanks for the list.

In the event that the names of the channels and other info becomes hard to find in the future, I discovered that the channel names, and the names of the currently playing music, album name, etc can be found in a PID associated with each channel.
   For example, if using TSREADER (being fed by Genpix), along the left, if you expand the channel of interest so that it shows the A/V/PCR PIDs, it will also list an additional "ES PID".  This PID contains a stream with info about the channel and the piece playing.
   For example, choosing SID#7 shows 403/2066/403 for the A/V/PCR, but also lists an additional ES at 416.
If you tell TSREADER to record PID 416, and open it with notepad, it gives:

chan="040" chName="Rock Hits" Seq="00537">

<Artist value="Soul Asylum" />

<ReleaseYear value="1992"G  />

<RecordLabel value="COLUMBIA" />

<CD value="Grave Dancers Union" />

I've cleaned it up a bit, removing non-printing characters.

Seems like it would be possible to make a plugin for TSREADER to print this info out, instead of needing to record it.  I think that the sample plugin could be modified to print this PID instead of the PAT, but I'm not sure how to make it select the proper PID.

Anyway, it seemed like an interesting project.

EDIT: What I've written above refers to the G14 DCII mux.

Thanks!  Plays fine, list is like DMX, scans in as video channels on my openbox.  No problemo with signal even though hitting a lot of trees and leaves.  List is perfect.

This thread has me confused. Is there DC2 music @125W that can be played on a DVB receiver? Anyone got it to work on a 4DTV receiver lately? Is Music Choice what the cablecos still call it?

I use both a 922 4dtv and a DVBTech card to play Music Choice.
A regular dvb receiver won't work.
It must have DC2 capabilities like a Genpix or DVBTech card.

The dvbs2 music feed that they are talking about is on 55w. The channels are listed in lyngsat. Good find.

Can anyone get these on a 6 foot dish?  My receiver acknowledges that the frequency exists, but no lock.  Most other frequency's including Disney radio, scan in fine.

Thanks

I am getting Music Choice on the 4DTV. I am not getting any audio on the blues channel, 549. All of the others are fine. Will someone please verify the blues channel audio.

And for the uninitiated among us, would you give us details (freq/polarity/SR) please?
