Folks -- It's been a while since I have done any hardcore maintenance on my Premium+, probably because it's working fine for my needs.  The last firmware I installed was the 5402 close to five years ago.  Is this version the latest firmware or has it been updated in the last five years?  Thanks!

Oh no Mark..Opensat is no longer around..If memory serves me correctly  5402 is the newest software but it is still labeled as 5309?.What does ur AZ say?..I am really going back in the memory bank here that SW is pretty good and a descent NA sat list also but needs many updates to the current sats.

Am still using the very stable 5020 here with a sat list Captain built and been editing for years with MAZ to keep it current.

The 5300 series is Official AZ Box Firmware.  The 5400 series was made by a dealer in Canada.

I still run 5308.  There were a couple of later versions than that, like 5309, 5310 and I think 5311, but the only thing changed in those later versions were fixes so the receiver could connect to You Tube and they neglected to change the Firmware number, as after loading them, it would still show 5308.

The Opensat went out of business.

I only use the Official Firmware, but if your receiver is working and your happy, no real need to change.  If it starts acting up, then I suggest a factory reset and then formatting the application area 3 times and then reloading version 5308 or even 5020 was a good version.

Hockeynut, do you suppose I/we could get a copy of your satellite/channel list(s)?

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
