Satellite footprint covers mostly the western USA/Canada and Alaska. Not visible from the east coast.

My understanding from friends is a 10 footer is needed in SoCal from San Bernadino County to Orange County as well to go along with the above post of San Diego. My 7.5 here in NM does not get them as well as that same size in So Cal. Just 10' there

The signal has gained some power in the last hour or two. I went from about 52 snr to 73 snr and 85 signal intensity.

I'm in Northern Colorado. I tried to get this feed a couple months ago and was unable to. I'm just outside the published footprint. Is it worth while trying to swing the 10-footer over again to see if I can get it? I was getting bleed over from adjacent satellites.

Depends on if you think the channel or any others that may become available are worth watching. I haven't observed any programming that I would go out of my way to see on that channel, but the picture quality is pretty good. I didn't have that sat programmed into the positioner, so I had to find it. It was slightly further east than where I calculated it to be. When I discovered the xpdr was not coming in, I tuned one from the Satmex just west of it, then moved the antenna east until that channel went away. Lyng only shows one xpdr on the sat, so I fine tuned position and skew using their xpdr data.

I was in the hospital for 12 days and I watched a lot of the "History Channel." Seems to me they should drop the word "History" from it's title. Nothing like it was years ago.

If the channel is still available, there is a Amelia Earhart Lost Evidence show on Sunday night 9pm Pacific. 2 hour new show.

Same can be said for nearly every cable tv channel out there.

I saw that commercial. I've seen one or two documentaries speculating about what happened to her and Fred. It may sound morbid, but one of the reasons I'm still here is that I try to learn from those who went before me. I plan to watch this one in case anything new turns up. Years ago, I looked through some old newspapers in the library in a small Iowa town to see what had been reported about the Buddy Holly, J.P. Richardson, Ritchie Valenz, Roger Peterson tragedy. What I found most disturbing was that just about every day the paper reported a plane crash somewhere. It happened a lot more often then than it does now.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
