Is there anyone out there that can check to see if this is an mpeg-4 signal or an mpeg-2. The last listed info says it is DVB-S2 mpeg-4 HD. It is acting like a DVB-S2 mpeg-2 HD signal.

i cant check, but if all the services are in HD, then its doubtful they are mpeg2..there is just not enough room on one tp unless the bitrate was low.

Yes they are technically encrypted in FP mode but viewable with a commercial HD receiver. I'm watching MGM movies at this very moment on my Dsr-6050.What receiver are you using?

3960 V 30000
DVB-S2 8psk
5/6 FEC
Pilot ON
13.2 dB

I don't have a commercial receiver to see if it's FP or not.

Well now.... nice PI work here photoman. Going by what there saying at NCTC/Rural Media all 3 channels are going to be full time Fp. Besides RFD-TV there will be THE COWBOY CH in SD & HD so all 3 slots will be filled again on this TP. I'm surprised, I was wondering what they were going to do with those colorbars! Its been awhile since I've checked the NCTC site. Looks like Rural Media made a mistake on THE COWBOY CH. SD spec's. Using VCT 806 I'm coming up with channel 515 instead of 616.   [crazy]    EDITED. Must still be a good market out there for them to keep the SD feed going.

Rick... is there any chance we could move this thread to the 4DTV category?  I made the mistake of putting it in the NETWORKS category about 3 years ago and keep forgetting to ask you if possible...             Thanks DC2

L-band 1190V TP-13

30000 5/6 DVB-s2 DC2

As of today Program 3 has changed from color bars to "MARQUEE Sports Network" test card.
It uppears when they add the Cowboy ch. SD & HD feeds as well as RFD TV this month, that there will be 7 channels in this mux instead of 6.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
