Is anybody currently receiving France 24 on 121W? They show 3900 V 27684 on their website but I don't get anything. Thanks.

overshot SES-4 while searching for the Belfast basketball tournament, and found this:

France 24
(news channel)
En français seulement, pas d'anglais

Intelsat 35e @ 34.5°W
11595H
30000
341/441/341

(Edited to correct satellite & position, thanks to seaveysky)

Hmmmm, maybe I was on 34.5W and not T12V?
Is there a transponder on 34.5W also at 10983H / 45000?
(I got a strong lock on that on what I thought was T12V.)

This must be 34.5W
Thought the elevation was too high for T12V
Canal+ HD on 11676H / 30000 is also open

EDIT: Definitely 34.5W, because I just found Hispasat (finally) a few clicks to the east.
I edited my original post.

Thank you for the help, seaveysky

Got a question here Mike: how come a friend and I here in Eastern Canada can not receive the 3880 H 27690 transponder? It has intermittent signal (the power goes up and down) and I lock only briefly. we both have different setup and have same issue.

It could be the footprint of the satellite/transponder?

Thanks but I tough so too. It can do that ? I have the image for a blip and the transponder goes dead to come back.  As for the footprint, I'm in the forth zone (Quebec) https://www.satbeams.com/footprints?beam=6780. This transponder is use by france24 for cable providers in Brasil US and Canada. https://www.satbeams.com/footprints?beam=6780

I get it solid. Im 20 miles from lake superior near houghton michigan. 10ft unimesh with bcs621 dual c/ku lnb not even the best lnb. Rock solid signal. I only chime in because of how far north I am.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
