A regular DBS lnb won't work.  I tried it and it won't tune below about 12050.
You need a special 118 lnb.
If you put "CB2008 lnb" in ebay, you will see some listed.
I don't see any on Rick's site, but he might have some.

I am able to receive the mux with my standard KU lnb on my 10 foot Unimesh dish.

Thanks P-man.  I tried real hard to get this on my Azbox and new Icecrypt and was able to get lots of other channels (weak signals) on this bird, but not the ones at 11900 unfortunately.

is the sports collage still up or has it changed to other channels?  I miraculously got a 18" dish working (with the special lnb for normal ku-band freqs circ pol) and I get the pixelated cnn and a collage of 6 channels with history and tbs among them.

It is still up Sat Bible..Do have one of those cb2008`s but since setting up a 1.2 on a polar mount using a invacom qph-031 I can get these..Was not possible wit a 1.0 or 90cm using the same type of lnb.

Impressed you are getting this on a pizza pan.

I'll have to TS analyze the transponder then, since I'm only getting 2 FTA channels in that signal and it's the CNN pixelated and a 6-ch mux with no sports channel mix.

Yes, the pizza pan is why i used the word "miraculous".  I first tried aiming the dish using the 6-ch mux signal and got crud signal level.  I decided to peak up on a 119 DBS transponder because of its better suitability for a 18" dish and see if Anik F3 fell into place better.

Still crud levels on F3 as expected but it's strong enough to lock/watch those 2 channels.  Glad I didn't have to take the DISH 500 sans LNB that I was given and try to figure out how to attach my  special regku/circ LNBF onto that dish.  I was figuring that might be the dish I have to use since it should buy me a few more inches of width.

EDIT: my invacom can see the 6-ch mux signal on my 4' steerable Ku dish on the circular port, but the frequency is below 950 l-band so I don't have a receiver that could tune that.   Pizza pan experimenting was fun but a lot of time could have been saved if I had a receiver that could tune signals below 950 l-band.

I too got this working, on a 20" pizza pan dish and a circular lnbf with std 10750.
When I check the channels in the morning I see the sports/news collage, but I noticed it changes around noon est to hgtv/tbs/weather/etc.

I just scanned in this 6 channel collage, but the programs are different then the ones shown on the first screenshot shown by Skideric.
All the ESPN programs are gone......do they constantly change them, are the changes on a schedule?

Thanks Photoman76,   I noticed at midnight EDT they changed all 6 programs.  I will keep
an eye on them to see if it is a pattern or just random.
