Is there a way to add frequencies to an old 4000?

I am at:
MENU
INSTALLATION
MOTORIZED SETTING
FREQUENCY

Can frequencies be added manually?

I'm pretty sure you could. I can't remember the menu layout though.  Might need to add a satellite position or something first and then into a scan menu from there.

goto installation...

drop down to manual scan...

click it..

chose which satellite you want...

then drop down to the first transponder that shows..

at the bottom of your tv screen you will see the option to add TPS...green button on the remote...

AND delete TPS....yellow button on your remote...

just add the tp frequency...then the signal rate
and H OR V...

THEN SAVE......

91willy...is there a specific sat or feed you are trying to get...

that coolsat4000 is great for locating sats....

you can also locate a satelllite, then use BLINDSCAN...

that cs4000 is pretty good bringing frequencies...

also goto the OPTIONS menu and turn the beeper on...

remember it's older now and it's pretty limited for bringing you video...
won't do S2 feeds...

i use a cs4000 for sat location all the time...[thumb]..
have for years ...
if ya have other questions please ask...

Quick Navigation:

Easily create a Forum Website with Website Toolbox.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
