Try to update CrazyScan - You are using old version with new StreamReader, so maybe it fails. Current CrazyScan version is 1.0.2.147.

Since the issue of streamreader has come up, I have a question relative to what effect the changes to streamreader over the years has changed it's overall function.  Ie have the calls to streamreader changed or have the changes been more of the nature of fixing bugs and/or of adjusting to compatability with new receiver cards without changing the calls to the dll?
The reason I ask is that a few years ago, Crazycat included an SDK with the Crazyscan files, which included code for blscan and blscan2 (in a download specifically for the 6983). At that time I modified his code a bit so as to output blind scan data in a format that was more convenient for me.  This had worked well for my TBS-6925 and 6983, however both of those cards broke, and I replaced them with a 5927.  My modified blscan.exe no longer works with what was the new 5927 card, even after I replaced the old streamreader with an up to date streamreader (haven't tried this new one yet).  What I was seeing was strange in that it seems to work with some transponders but not with others.  Some transponders would be reported with the correct parameters, others would report gibberish.
I am NOT very experienced with C-programming so it is 95% likely that my alterations of the code resulted in bugs, but I was just curious whether it is possible that the streamreader.dll has changed enough that the old code just won't work anymore.
If that's the case, I'm wondering if there might be a new SDK that would include blscan2.cpp that is compatable with the new TBS cards.  Unless I missed it, the crazyscan download site doesn't seem to have the SDK, nor is there a separate blscan or blscan2.cpp included. I assume that the functions of the blscan executables are now embedded in Crazyscan itself and the blscan programs are now obsolete for most people.

Thank you Crazycat. I've been looking for that for a couple years, apparently in the wrong place. I guess I was looking for it with the Crazyscan source instead of your site.  Last time I saw the SDK was something like 2014.
The old version I had been using was giving strange results.  The initial pass where it prints to the cmd window would work, but it would bomb when it started printing the report data files, apparently when it would encounter transponders with multiple input streams.
Anyway, thanks.  This will be very helpful. I like to modify the format of the report data to be in CSV format to generate an Excel file.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
