DVB-S/S2/S2X and DVB-T/T2 cannot be used at the same time for 5520SE, because it is single tuner card with ability to switch modes. Only one tuner is installed inside.

Only 6522 and 6590 multistandard models got dual tuner and are able to work for DVB-S/S2/S2X and DVB-T/T2 at the same time (with different tuners active).

For 5520, 5520SE and 6528 Change Mode Tool is needed to switch tuner to desired mode.

This wrong interpretation [smile] 5520SE and 6528 is multi-standard DVB-devices which can receive ONE transport stream from selected standard (DVB-T/T2/C/C2/S/S2 or ISDB-T). Based on Si2183 demod IC + Si2157 Ter/Cable tuner IC + AV201x sat tuner IC. 5520SE have separate RF-inputs for Ter/Cable (connected to Si2157) and Sat (connected to AV201x ), 6528 have single input switchable btw tuner ICs.

6522, 6590 is multi-standard dual DVB-devices which can receive TWO transport streams from selected standard (DVB-T/T2/C/C2/S/S2 or ISDB-T). Based on Si21832 demod IC (dual) + 2xSi2157 Ter/Cable tuner IC + 2xAV201x sat tuner IC. 6522 have separate RF-inputs for Ter/Cable (connected to 2xSi2157) and Sat (connected to 2xAV201x ), 6590 have 2x input switchable btw tuner ICs.

As a result;

If tuners can not be used at the same time, the system is badly designed. For me !

Because desingners users; Either use DVB-T2. Or use DVB-S2. It is imposed. Such is the case. According to me...

For the 5520SE, since the demodulators are separate, I hope a solution is developed.

Otherwise, the product falls into the state of defective product in this state.

I hope I did not have the wrong logic !?

Hımm...

There is nothing to do in this situation.

But still the product is designed to be defective. According to me...

At the very least, put one cable entry was required in the product.

After all, everybody's can escape attentions.

TBS provides misleading information:

hxxps://tbs-technology.de/produkte/dvb/5520-se-single-tuner/

Quote:
Die TBS-5520 SE, ist eine Multituner USB Empfangsbox

It's also advertised that the DVB-T2 part can receive MPLP in Germany. With the original TBS driver and  with @crazycat's debug driver only the main PLP0 is detected. [frown]

Yes mate.

Clearly, trust in TBS was shaken.

I still could not understand. To put two inputs into the device and start a single tuner.

With 55520 SE debug driver and Streamreader 1.2.4.24 I can perform a RF scan and a blindscan. But but carrier search and constellation monitoring fails. -> BLScanEX failed ! and PLSSel failed !.

Not possible or is there a fix?

I have the same disruption. With debug driver.

But it's normal.

Because this card's demodulator is not blindscan feature.

It is make emulation blind scanning with "Debug driver".

Therefore, the analytical functions do not work.

The only advantage of the TBS5520SE card is DVB-S2x. If the DVB-S2x modulation becomes widespread ... If it does not spread, there will not be many features that we can use from this card. Sure, for me ...

There are 2 Transponders with MPLP. TBS 5520 detects none. Here a screen shot from PLP1 with DVBSky T330
