Is there any way to clone an entire (Boot[0,1,2] all) Me to restore the box's complete setup to another Me?

Not that I'm aware.
You would need to backup file system for all three partitions and the kernel.
Not aware of any one (three) click solution.

Not exactly what I wanted to do, but would be an interesting experiment.  It would appear that the complete "system" should reappear intact on the destination Me.

(I had hoped for a way to duplicate  -- not transfer -- the system to a new, additional machine.)

Lilo74, not thinking about what you suggest.  I was just thinking how convenient it would  have been to be able to clone one Me which was set up exactly the way one wanted it to a 2nd Me with its own dish for use in a different part of the house.  I know how to do it one Boot[] at at time.

why don't you put the same firm ware that you have on you're older ME on all 3 boots to the newer ME and then use DreamBox edit to send you're channel list and the settings from 1 ME to the other on all 3 boots.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
