well, depending on your definition of 'receive'..  Technically speaking, yes it will receive the signal.
Will it be able to play it?? No..

Could an AZBox stream the signal to a PC for VLC to play it, in theory at least? The HD+ doesn't seem to support much LAN bandwidth, about half that of an ME, and maybe 5% of a typical gigabit ethernet connection. What about recording then transferring the recording to the PC for VLC?

These are now down to 15mbps. It's 4 channels. 2 for CBS and 2 for the cw.

Yes, they are 4:2:2. I am getting a black screen with audio on my Manhattan RC1978. I can record them with the 1978 and play them back on a computer with PotPlayer. The NHRA MPEG4 4:2:2 feeds that usually show up on AMC9 Cband, also play back perfectly with PotPlayer.

Sure wished they had dropped me a note about this.  Found out about it about two (2) days after I had committed to acquiring another AZBox as a backup to the one I have.  The age old story, "A day late and a Dollar short."  Good thing my wife tolerates me and my hobbies.

Will have to figure this streaming thing out with my various receivers or start using the USB receivers more.  I get CBS OTA, but the quality doesn't compare.  Usually just watch the OTA, but when down or really bad, I switch to the feeds.  Will have learn some new tricks, and stream to computer, maybe even hook the HDMI out to the TV.[smile]

Not as strong here as 4080. Maybe they will up the power on 4100 if 4080 is dropped?

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
