here is pdf showing clone vs original. You be the judge, how many owners who have never owned an azbox would look for these things? Thanks to VIPER for the info.

Sorry i had to break the pdf into 2 parts. Part two looks blank in the beginning.,but has the last pages.

That pdf that was developed by Opensat was based on a receiver that I purchased from a China company that approached me and wanted me to start selling them. At that time, I contacted Hugo, who was the CEO of Opensat and we agreed to have me purchase one and then send it to them and then they made the pdf to show the differences. This was for the Premium HD and not the Premium Plus HD.

Now Serge from Dr. Sat (also known as AZ Box Canada) in the post that he has made at Satellite Guys and is mentioned above that the same post was made at Legit FTA site, is Falsely saying that if you purchased a Premium Plus unit after 2012 and if it has 3 Rows of vents, that they are All Clones. Then he also states that he has proof of other differences, but he is not releasing that information publicly, but to contact him privately if you think you have purchased a clone.

I for one would like to see this proof and if indeed it is true, then that is good to help expose who is making and selling clones. But if I were to see his proof and then take one of my NEW ORIGINAL Premium Pluses straight out of a Sealed New Case of Receivers that have the 3 rows of vents and see if the things he is pointing out are actually in the receivers that I have or if they are indeed different.

If there are differences, then I will be the first to say good job, but if they are the same, then Serge needs to publicly retract these statements. He already needs to do so with the statement that anyone that purchased a Premium Plus unit after 2012 and if it has 3 Rows of vents is a clone, because again, this is 100% FALSE.

Afternoon everyone

Rick
Just wondering if dr.sat(serge) know that slandering one could end him up in a big law mess...
every one that knows you they know that you are stand up and honest business person.
I have had one dealing with serg couple of years a go and this guy has the nerve to talk s** about you?
this serg fellow wouldn't even return an email or a phone call after he made a sell.
so for every one that is paying any attention to his writing and words CONSIDER THE SOURCE.
cheers

@Bogie,

The attorney(s) have been in on this according to post #1. I hope this gets resolved and I know that Rick has always been on the Up and Up when it comes to selling products. If the other person (Serge - or whoever it is) challenged the products that Rick is offering as being clones then put up or shut up!!! And if they are found as being wrong, then a determination as to loss of sales Rick has suffered because of this needs to be determined. That is justice for any wrongdoing whether intentional or not. It is what one has to pay for being willing to speak out and say that someone is misleading the country by selling clone products. It is only fair to equally pay reparations to those that are accused and suffer sales due to being accused...

More than my 2 cents worth...

GO RICK!!!

I bought my Premium HD Plus from Rick in 2010 and it has two rows of vents.  I have no doubt that Rick has gone through the legitimate Opensat supply chain for all of his Azbox receivers.

I will offer another theory (pure speculation on my part) of what may have happened.  Perhaps Opensat started buying receivers from China without telling anyone --- maybe even from the same places that make what we call clones.  If that happened then those receivers supplied by Opensat, with proper labeling and serial numbers, would not be clones --- they are legitimate Opensat products.  But they could physically match the "clone" receivers.  Of course if that happened, any claim by Opensat that they were made in Korea would be false (my receiver box stated that it was developed in Portugal, made in Korea).

I too have purchased 3 azboxes(premium and 2 ultra) from Rick and all are excellent although I only own 1 ultra as I sold the other 2 to my neighbour. Rick has always been and always will be an upstanding gentelman and all transactions I've had with Rick, there have been at least 6, were all conducted with professionalism. I recently purchased a premium+ from one of the 2 Canadian sites that Serge posted and the receiver is running smooth and no hint of a clone. By the way, my premium+ has 2 rows of vents. I would have purchased the premium+ from Rick as well but due to my geographical location and my impatience, I decided to go local and received my box in 3 days.

One of the dealers in Canada that I have sold several cases of REAL Original AZ Box Premium Plus HD Receivers to, Worldwide Satellite, has also now decided to make a public reply to the accusations that have been made.

Some of the information included in the post was uncovered by his attorney.

http://worldwidesatellites.blogspot.ca/2013/02/azbox-premium-hd-plus-clone-information.html

Any one who has purchased a receiver from a dealer that tells you that I supplied the product, please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to verify Serial Numbers with you.

Thanks,

Rick Caylor

Rick Caylor is a stand up individual and conducts a very professional business. WorldWideSatellites was referred to Rick Caylor from Azbox.com early 2012. From the first transaction to our most recent transaction the service has always been top notch.  Fast Shipping, Helpful for technical issues, Installs latest stable factory firmware prior to shipping, Pre-tests each box prior to shipping and provides a master list of serial numbers on each invoice. We don’t get this type of service from any other supplier. We’ve purchased all our Azboxes from Rick Caylor and have no doubts about its authenticity.

It’s important to note were located in Canada. Azbox.com referred us to Rick Caylor in the USA and did not refer us to Dr.Sat or azbox.ca or Serge.  It’s a dirty and unprofessional business tactic to make competitors look bad to gain more sales. This tactic is exposed and won’t work any longer.

Regards,

WorldWideSatellites

I will also confirm that it was AZBox.com that referred Worldwide Satellite to me, as I verified it with them.  Yes, they also knew that Worldwide was located in Canada.  This is NOT the only Canadian satellite business that they sent to me either!

It is time to Stop the LIES!

EDIT:  I do not like all of this drama and it takes away from the time to conduct business, but I have been accused of selling clone AZ Box Premium Plus HD satellite receivers and I will not stand by and do nothing.  Actions have been taken and the Statements accusing Ricks Satellite and myself of selling Clones is a LIE and needs to be publicly retracted.

Thanks Jeff.

Again, a public retraction would go a long ways towards putting a stop to this nonsense.

I will not be able to say much else about this now due to pursuing legal action, but there is much more going on and documents as well.

Thanks and Now Back to Stalking the Wildfeeds and Backhauls!  Yahoo!

Once your lawyer notices that he is selling HITS to Canadians this will be the least of his worries.     That is considered unauthorized decryption of satellite signals in Canada.  Not legal.  Usually gets overlooked, until a dealer is stupid enough to forget that what he is doing is actually illegal and starts stirring up nonsense like this and draws a whole bunch of attention to themselves.

To Update, so far I have had 2 inquires from Canadian Customers who have purchased AZ Box Premium Plus receivers from Worldwide Satellite in Canada and they have both been verified to have REAL ORIGINAL AZ BOX PREMIUM PLUS RECEIVERS that I supplied to Worldwide Satellite.

This has been verified by not only the Serial numbers, but a couple of other things that I do in the testing of the receivers before shipping them out.

Thanks,

Rick Caylor

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
