Thanks for the follow up. It seems to find them but they won't play. Even created one as tv and it found it but no dice. Might be time to upgrade to a better receiver. Seems more and more the 9200 won't find. I will look on other forums to see what is a good receiver these days. I kinda live in the past...

Question,

Been following this thread, have manually inserted the channels.  My receiver only plays these channels in mono audio mode.   My question is, are the channels broadcast in mono or stereo? Thanks.

They appear to be broadcast in mono.  I checked about 15 of them and they were all mono.

Check with Rick.Pretty sure he still has some of those Linkbox`s...They are pretty much identical to the Pansat 9500 and even better they come with an ATSC tuner....If I were in the market for a new STB the Linkbox 8000 would be tops on the list...Plus buying from Rick helps to pay the bills and keep this site going...

These will not scan in, you have to manually enter each channel in order to listen to them.

I posted the current list, and I know they will work with the MicroHD as well. The only difference may be the VIDEO PID, which is 8190 on some receivers.

I'm assuming you have the GEOSATpro MicroHD? If so, I will dig mine out and look at the settings, I know I have them on there, just haven't used that receiver lately.

Thanks.  Three comments.  First, there should be no need for a video PID for an audio channel, although some receivers may have different ways of doing things.  8191 is the null PID, so there isn't anything on that PID except zeros.
Second, re the Service ID, if you intend to save more than 1 channel, some receivers like Azbox will need a different SID for each channel, not always zero. It can be anything that hasn't already scanned in or entered manually.  I would typically use the audio PID for both the SID and PCR as well.
Third, I think this happened to me before and I figured out why, but when I try to play these things with TSREADER--> VLC, for some reason I'm not getting audio, but when I stream to PotPlayer instead of VLC, they play fine.  Not sure why.  VLC plays the channels the scan in fine, so it should play the hidden channels.

On the GEOSATpro HDVR3500 you must enter the Video PID, or it won't save the channel when you add the settings. Anything I tried but 8191 would not work

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
