getting 4020 on 131W with Skywalker-1 and TSReader, but channels seem to be scrambled.  Not getting 4140 there, but will try 3980 on 135W now.  :-)

You will need a 4dtv or commercial DCII receiver to view FP mode channels.
Only ZK mode channels can be viewed with Genpix Skywalker.

FP channels are scrambled. You can get them with a DCII receiver because they are scramble with a key that every DCII receiver has stored in rom. The genpix device is just a tuner with no descrambling capabilities. It also doesn't have the key. Therefore the only DCII channels you will be able to watch with it are ZK or Zero Key, which means they have no scrambling whatsoever. I've heard that there is a similar mode similar to FP with Powervu. That is there is a default key that all powervu receivers know and that if you have a  genuine powervu receiver there are some channels you can get.

Anyway, the only way to use your Genpix to get FP channels is to get an ASI out card and an ASI input card. Then get a commercial DCII receiver with both ASI out and ASI in. You then feed the channels from the genpix through the DCII receiver and back into your PC. You'll need TSreader Pro to do this because it supports forwarding to ASI output and it also support ASI input. That's a very convoluted and expensive way to watch just a few channels, but it does work. You also have to make sure the DCII receiver you get has a good unit ID and the battery hasn't died in it. If it has it's a worthless piece of junk and won't work. There were also some commercial DCII receivers that were lock to specific services and are of no other use.

Yes. They are wide open too. All the talk early today was just about AMC 11. I just added the call name here (AMC 10) to the location (135 west).

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
