I thought that was leitch in picture 8. ABC used that but CBS used 1B and they were both on the satellite. CBS transponder 7. ABC was what 10 and 12? MNF backhauls used leitch too while MLB and CBS used 1B

No I know that for sure that was B-Mac I remember that good. I had an external B-Mac decoder.

What was B-Mac on Telstar 5? I thought AFRTS on Spacenet 2 only used that.

Water under the bridge, but yes AFRTS, fights and horse racing used BMAC and the chroma was sent in  the video line so the the scrambled video had no color at all... here's a summary...

The B-Mac channels were mainly two places T-5 which was 97 at the time, and then they had a Ku B-Mac broadcast that holiday Inn use to run their first run movies. They did have some horses races like G16 as well.

This was definitely Leitch.  If I remember correctly, by 2000 AFRTS was PowerVu.

I hope to have this video on YouTube soon.  I will be sure an post the link.

Since it is analog and so old it shouldn't tick anyone at ABC/ESPN off too bad.

That picture says D2 MAC which had several variants.   B-MAC visually had no color due to the separation of luminance and chrominance.  The picture you have shows a later D2-MAC EuroCrypt version which was another variant and used primarily in Scandinavia.

What this was referring to was the first group of pictures #8 I stated and told everyone that was B-Mac. I was posting this to show the difference I just posted to the wrong reply. That what happens when you reply back using your cell phone.

If you make the website on your phone desktop version then it looks just like on your laptop. That's what I do.

That wasn’t the problem I am a network engineer, I was trying to do to many things at one time on my phone.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
