I just did the same thing, wiped it, now to re-set everything, I hate doing that. Like you say the TBS native sources work again, I"ve been switching back and forth between CrazyCat's proxy source and the native sources and I can't make the native sources go into their "blinking" mode. At least so far.I downloaded the new TBS sources (June 11/12) from the TBS site 1.0.8.2 and now the 6925 and 8922 cards show "signal unlocked" where signal and quality should show. I don't see anything else different yet but just installed them. TSReader seems to run normally except for that.

Strange. Just tried it now, myself, went to proxy source, then back to the direct source, and now both work. Really confusing
One thing that might help re having to reset all the settings, which I've been afraid to try. If you go into the registry, and click on the TSREADER key, there is an option to "EXPORT" that key, which saves it to a file. If you try to run that file, it asks you if you want to use regedit to run it, and if you say yes, it then asks you if you're sure you want to ADD this to the registry. I was afraid to try this, not knowing what would happen. But it sounds like maybe we could save different working copies of the TSREADER registry key, and switch between them quickly. I think there is an option to EXPORT the entire registry too.

Re "signal unlocked".... I've seen that a lot today, and I'm not using the new source. I've been trying to tune transponders with the wrong FEC, and it seems to be saying that instead of popping up the window that tells you that it couldn't get a lock. I also noticed that now TSREADER is ID'ing the 6925 when I'm running the streamreader proxy source, which it wasn't doing yesterday. Curious things are happening here.

Got it to work (easy cheesy once I had the correct source module). I switched between sources (TBS one and streamreader one and had no issues).

I changed source to device 1 (Tevii S660) and got this, but TONS of errors which I don't have if I access the Tevii source itself in tsreader.

I"ve been switching back and forth between the last three versions of the TBS sources and the newest 1.0.8.2 is the only one that shows me "unlocked"

I think this is the same problem wejones has with his? Maybe he will chime in. Are you using the streamreader.dll that CrazyCat linked to in this thread?

Yes, the one that comes as StreamReaderExEx-BDA.rar

I don't think I got errors with the TeVii on the proxy source, but mine gave bogus signal numbers. Yours seem to be giving real signal numbers but errors. ???
EDIT: Image from post 9 above at http://rickcaylor.websitetoolbox.com/file?id=1337673 shows no errors, but impossible signal numbers. Also, when this image taken, the cards didn't ID themselves, but ID'd as streamreader. Now, after clearing the registry, at least the 6925 IDs properly. Didn't try the TeVii again. It works fine via the regular source, so no need.

@wejones
For TeVii (and another Montage ds300x-based) better not use direct hardware control in StreamReaderEx-BDA for transponder tuning. Because latest Montage SDK (which used in my code) optimized for new demod DS310x. So disable HWControl in streamreader.ini or use native TeVii source.

Thanks Crazycat. I'll stick with the regular TeVii source, and just use the streamreader proxy for the TBS 6925. The proxy is great for that! Thanks.

Anyone with a TBS5925, you will experience the same opportunities as described in the prior postings AFTER installing crazycats dlls for this app.
As discussed, the simple solution is to use REGEDIT to delete the COOLSTF registry folder then run TSReader to re-establish the registry entry. There may be a couple caveats, well at least in my case there were to re-establish operation.
1) Select crazycats proxy as the first device and setup the lnb and positioner entries for a single satellite to test.
2) I found tuning would not work UNTIL I then opened the SETTINGS menu and forced a change to one of the parameters there, even to the point of simply toggling it with a restart in between. I used 'Audio thumbnails enabled' in the 'Thumbnails Thread' as it has pretty obvious results when tuning occurs.
3) Tuning via the original TBS source still would not function until a restart was performed.
After that all worked as expected.
OS is w7Pro 64bit, all current updates installed and TSReader 2.8.47c.
I haven't been able to use TSReader as a standalone app in several weeks with my 5925, my other devices 660 and 7500's worked correctly.
So the bottom line is THANK YOU for your research into your respective TBS devices as it triggered me to attempt the same for the 5925.
Top of the day,

I'm not 100% convinced the streamreader proxy is causing this, although tsreader does react with anomolies as several of us have experienced. I'm having no issues switching between TBS native source and streamreader source without having to edit anything in registry or uninstall/reinstall. I have noticed that at times when I launch streamreader of the source, it will 9/10 report TBS 6925, but I have seen it report streamreader proxy as the source. When that happens, I close tsreader and reselect the source (cntl+enter) from launch, and it goes back to reporting the card correctly.

I know the only change that I made was to install the streamreader proxy dll items the day after crazycat posted them. Never had a problem prior to then. I have no desire to normally use the TBS offering for TSReader so constant switching is not on my agenda. I just could not get their offering to run even after removing the crazycat dll's until after deletion of the registry entry. In the wonderful world of 'doze everyone's mileage seems to vary to a point. Thanks again to all for your experiences.
