I've been going through all the transponders on I805 {55.5}, and ran into a strange one.
3973 V 3702    DVB

I scanned this in on my main computer with TeVii and Genpix, running the 2.8.47  July 2010 version of TSREADER.
The mux locked with no errors, and TSREADER read the PAT, which listed PID 36 as the PMT containing the channel info, however it was unable to read the PMT, and couldn't determine the A/V PIDs.  I could see that there were channels there, and there was activity on the PID 36 PMT.
Confused, I switched over to the Genpix.  Same thing.
I then switched over to my older computer, which has my TT3200 and BL 1030.  The BL-1030 control APP locked the transponder, and read the PMT and determined the A/V PIDs.    I switched to the TT3200, using an older version of TSREADER, ie   2.8.46b Feb 12 2008, and TSREADER worked fine on the transponder, reading the PMT, and playing the 2 channels (horse racing channels).   I recorded a minute of the mux and moved it over to the new computer but the TSREADER on that computer still couldn't read the PMT from the file source (the old version of TSREADER WAS able to read the PMT running from the file source).   I tried several different TSREADER versions on a third computer, and found 2 more versions that wouldn't read the PMT, but found one very old version , 2.7.44 Dec 21 2005, which DID read the PMT from the recorded file.  I also went to another version of TSREADER, 2.8.46g  Nov 30 2009, on the TT3200 computer, and it would not read the PMT from either the file or the sat feed.
So for some reason, the newer versions of TSREADER cannot read the PMT in this mux, but versions from 2008 and 2005 DO work with the mux.

Just curious what other people who use TSREADER see with this mux.   I tried to download the newest version of TSREADER, but my license had expired.  I renewed the license, however it apparently takes a while for the TSREADER download page to realize that I've renewed.

I'm using Tsreader 2.8.46f, a few years old,  haven't kept up the license, it wont' read the PMT either on this mux. I tried the frequency in TransEdit and it reads them fine.

Thanks. Good to know that it isn't just my system.

BTW, after renewing my TSREADER , and downloading and ran the newest "pre-release" version, ie
TSReader2.8.47a built May 31 2011, I tried the file again.
TSREADER now works with this mux.

So I guess Rod fixed the problem.  I didn't see it in the fix list, but perhaps some other fix corrected this issue, much as some other fix must have caused it to appear.

Looks like some TeVii issues fixed too.

You'll have to buy a licence!

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
