You're welcome . I'll put the schedule of the teams, along with the hours and where it's likely to find them, but first i'd like to put kind of a 'tutorial' or a 'who-is-who' of this league. Mexico's Pacific League is by their level the top league in México due to the use of MLB prospects (for some time it has been classified by experts as being AAAA, better than AAA but not quite as good as a pro league like MLB or the Japanese Leagues): The teams have their name based on what makes their city known for: Mazatlán Deers: Defending champions, Mazatlán in Nahuatl means Land Of Deers (Mazatl = Deer and Tlan = Land), it's a beautiful coastal city known by their beaches and all around their tourist appeal (all my father family it's from there).
Stadium: Teodoro Mariscal, 14,000 seats; 5 Caribbean Series in that venue. Championships: 8 (1973-74, 1976-77, 1986-87, 1992-93, 1997-98, 2004-05, 2005-06, 2008-09), 1 Caribbean Series (2005).

Culiacán Tomato-growers: The city serves as the capital of the state of Sinaloa, where there's also the city of Mazatlán, Mochis and Guasave who also have teams in the league, their rivalry vs. Mazatlán it's kind of like Yanks vs BoSox since at least 60 years ago. Stadium: General Ángel Flores, 16,000 seats; 2 Caribbean Series. Championships: 9 (1966-67, 1969-70, 1977-78, 1982-83, 1984-85, 1995-96, 1996-97, 2001-02, 2003-04); and 2 Caribbean Series won (1996 and 2002).

Guasave Cotton-growers: Along with Mochis it might be one of the 3 cities with less population from the 8 that play in the league, they have not had a good team in consecutive seasons in the last 10 years. Stadium: Francisco Carranza Limón, 8,000 seats. Championships: 1 (1971-1972).

Mochis Sugarcane-growers: It's one of the eternal "almost champ" from the league, also on Sinaloa state, a good team but not enough to win a championship. In the indigenous language Mochis means Turtles (mochim = turtles, mochich = turtle). Stadium: Emilio Ibarra Almada, 11,000 seats. Championships: 3 (1968-69, 1983-84, 2002-03). Navojoa Mayos: Mayos are an indigenous population in that region of México, they usually field a good team but like Guasave, rarely play to their expectations. This city it's on the state of Sonora. Stadium: Manuel "Ciclón" Echeverria (pronounced: e-shey-vei-RRia), 12,000 seats. Championships: 2 (1978-79, 1999-00).

Obregón City Yaquis: Also called Cajeme because that's the name of the county where Obregón lies, it's in Sonora. Stadium: Tomás Oroz Gaytán, 13,000 seats. Championships: 4 (1965-66, 1972-73, 1980-81, 2007-08).

Hermosillo Orange-growers: The city it's the capital of the northern state of Sonora, they have the distinction of having the most championships in this new league with 14 (altough 4 of them came in a league of their own: Sonora Winter League, where neither Culiacán nor Mazatlán played, in the previous version of the Pacific League they won 3 championships while Mazatlán had 4... so their count should be at 13 with 12 for Mazatlán, not counting that Sonora League where only played 4 teams). They've had some of the best players all around, with one of the best semi-pro in the world in the person of Hector Espino a.k.a. "Chihuahua's Superman" or his original nickname "the assassin child" (because he killed babies... ok no no, it's because he was a feared homerun hitter playing for the Mexican State of Chihuahua at the early age of 15-16, this in the 1950's). Stadium: Héctor Espino Stadium; 15,000 seats. Championships: 14 (1960-61, 1961-62, 1964-65, 1970-71, 1974-75, 1975-76, 1979-80, 1981-82, 1989-90, 1991-92, 1993-94, 1994-95, 2000-01, 2006-07), 1 Caribbean Series (1976).

Mexicali Eagle Warriors: It's the team of the house for Baja California where i live a mere 3 hours from there, which it's the capital of BC, this place it's know by its constant temperatures above 40ºC during summer, while in winter it can be below 0ºC, in spanish their name it's Los Águilas, since 'warrior' it's a male pronoun, even if 'eagle' in spanish it's female (you'll constantly hear fans from the eagles correcting people who don't know it and say LAS águilas... LOL). All around it's a great city and the biggest of all those in the league (past a million inhabitants). Stadium: Casas GEO (formerly known as "The Eagles Nest", until a company that builds houses, named GEO, had it's name changed for publicity), 20,000 seats (the expansion in capacity took place for last years Caribbean Series) . Championships: 3 (1985-86, 1988-89, 1998-99), 1 Caribbean Series (1986)
