Hi Guys,
Been working on this for the last coupla days. Attached are the latest and greatest North American transponder files with DVB S2 for use with Transedit and DVBviewer linear transponders.
Download it.Replace your existing Transponder files (2). There will be 1 in DVBviewer folder and 1 in in a Progdata folder. You may have to do a search to find the 2nd file.
I hope this helps.

Ernie

Attached Files:
zip Transponders.zip (22.88 KB, 105 views)

i downloaded this file and it tells me that it's not an .ini type file. if it is the correct file type, how do i get it to dvbviewer? i deleted the transponder list and then added your file but it still shows the old transponders.

thanks in advance
in the data folder of dvbviewer there isn't anything at all

It's a ZIP file...unzip it and there is a folder called transponders. Inside this folder is all the ini files...replace the transponder folder in DVBViewer and the configuration folder (both places) with this transponder folder. You can find the configuration folder in DVBViewer by clicking ABOUT > CONFIGURATION FOLDER...

Sorry about that Mack. I should have been clearer in my instructions. Good thing we have AC to keep me on my toes.

Not too cold...yet. About 40 now and should bottom out in the low 30's...we've had lots of frost and a few hard freezes. The leaves are about gone.

I found that Galaxy23C has an error.  The FECmof 3780 should be 3/4 but loaded on the Transedit demo at 7/8.  Trivial, yes, but I went around a bit looking for what was wrong.  I have been trying to use VLC so my difficulty may be unique.

I hang my head in shame.
It shows as 7/8 on Lyngsat.
I'll correct it in my master copy and in about 4 months I'll post another freshly updated version.

Don't do that!  I find solutions to problems that don't exist or outrageously expensive ones for those that do.  I found that Coreavc is about to release 2.0.  Though that doesn't impact this TP.  It may get my limited (3700+) box to handle the Galaxy 4 mux.  Interestingly, TT-Viewer seems to use about 15% less CPU so the search for a solution had a bit of serendipity.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates on our receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply, that might help others as well.
