Any other spotting on Eagles/Cowboys for tonight would sure help - amc6 is at 72w I think - and my dish physical limit is 89w. (w3)

Thanks much!

What am i doing wrong?
I have AZBOX and 65% quality on 4180.
The AZbox wont scan the channels in.
dvb-s2/8psk
9/10

all the settings from above..  It locks on signal but scan sees nothing

Transedit demo would not scan the red but did scan in the green.  The preview was garbage video but at least the TT-3200 was getting the picture.  VLC would play poorly; clearly inadequate CPU or codec.  H.264 eats about 40% more CPU on my system that MPEG-2.

I have had signal dropout on the Quali on Galaxy 19 very frequently of late.  If I were a conspiracy theorist, I would think the uplinkers are turning down the power to the minimum their customers will tolerate.

At AMC-1 12000 H 30000 DVB-S2 there should be a fronthaul.  AMC-6 is the only backhaul-like NBC sends out.  I believe an NBC channel is on the Caribbean mux also.

johbru...what are you attempting to state in this meandering?  You are talking about a CBS football feed and which is NOT MPEG H.264 and you make a statement about it and it's CPU usage.  Then you wander into the Quali, which is not DVB-S2 capable and then make comments about the up linkers and some conspiracy theory you have about them...sorry, don't need an explanation to this.  The second comment does make sense however..BTW.

Wish I could get to 72w for amc-6 - Too bad nbc hangs their backhaul only there - just a tad beyond my dish limit in that direction. And I couldn't scan in anything on the amc-1 spot - thanks anyway.

Okay, enough whining - I'll be the mainstream network viewer for the night and make my local nbc affiliate happy.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates on our receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply, that might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
