Today’s NASCAR feeds are on AMC-3 at 3871, 89 and 91 @ 14062.  I put these feeds in manually, I get Sig @ 70s and Q @ 50s to 70s but the AZ will not show me anything on either of these even though it says it’s locked when scanning those TPs?

My old fta receiver will see feeds listed at 3870 when I scan in @ 3871 and it also sees 3890 when I scan in @ 3891?  So the old box is picking up a feed “near” the ones posted but the AZ still won’t show me anything?  I even went back and re-entered the TP at 3890 on the AZ and get 65/70 Q when I do that but still nothing comes back when I scan it there?

I’ve had problems with this for some time now but it’s intermittent.  Some stuff will come in no problem but some TPs that others are getting just don’t scan in?

So is there some “secret” to getting these feeds with an AZ?

If you mean running the skew to hard stop in both directions to find a stronger signal, yes I did that?  No help here but that has worked on a few birds.

I turn mine off whenever I'm not using it.  This afternoon it was off and on a few times as I tried at different times to get those feeds so yeah, it's been off and on a couple of times inbetween tries.

iam not sure what fiber is but I read were it could be a problem recieving a picture. are you getting any sound. one more thing I dont think turning your box off alot is good for it. it has to boot up every time you turn it on.

You are correct because if the venue used fiber optic service from the remote site

to the network, they would not likely need the satellite so we would not see anything.

(Unless the fiber failed and then  a slight chance satellite would be a back up link)

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates on our receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply, that might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
