I set mine to "DXVA (native)". What was your setting?

anybody tried the 1030? Want it for 4K.

Also I have the 1050ti mentioned in this article...does 4k great!
I then put it into a 2 core computer from 4 core..I notices that 4K still plays fine but 4:2:2 H264 now doesnt.  However I put a pathetic card (250) into 4 core and it does 4:2:2 H264 still fine...but not 4K now (slow motion)
Quick question 2: does 4:2:2 H264 get processed by CPU's and not Video Card?
Any other recommended video cards? Thanks!

SOrry Hockey...nothing is 4K h264 4:2:2....

I was just saying that with my 2 core computer I can do 4K fine with the 1050 card in....but it wont do 4:2:2 H264 CBS (which is not 4K).

However the 4 CPU computer that I took the 1050 card out of and put an old 250 in will now not do 4K (no surprise)......but it will do CBS (422 H264 NOT 4k)

SO my question is is CBS (Non 4k) 422 H264 decoded by CPU's and not the video card like 4K is?
It seems that way to me.
Sorry for the confusion.

In other words if I buy a 4K video card and put into a really old machine ... it wOnt be able to do CBS..Is that right?  But it will be able to do 4K like the relaxation channel and Nasa. Is that because the 422 H264 that CBS uses is decoded on motherboard and not in video card?

Thanks!

As far as I understand there is no consumer video card that can decode 4:2:2 h264 or Mpeg 2.
4:2:2 is decoded by the CPU only from my experience. That's why your 2 core cpu can't do
CBS, it must not be powerful enough.

It depends on the dual core cpu you have. My previous Amd dual core 2.3 ghz couldn't even do
4:2:2 CBS HD Mpeg 2.
