The way I understood it was 4K cameras (6) will only be used to make calls on the field, because of the clarity and not general viewing. But if my local Fox says it is 4K I'm golden. Enjoy the game friends and the food!!

FOX has been using a few 4K cameras now for a while in their broadcasts, because yes, you can zoom in 4 times and still retain regular HD clarity.  And the actual telecast will still be in regular 720p HD for the Super Bowl, but they have stepped up bigtime and have even added 8K cameras (I don't know how much of an upgrade that would require for their production workflow, but it doesn't sound cheap):

Just incredible:

"the complexity of composing and stitching together shots from the live broadcast itself and the 38 UHD cameras requires about 1 terabyte of data per 30 second "!!!

"Fox will only be broadcasting in 720 P HD"
38 UHD cameras and we only get the cheap stuff.
Back to searching for "any" feeds of the super bowl in any form, so long  as it is free.

I see my local OTA Fox 28 shows a live Super Bowl in todays viewing schedule. Free is better than what a seat at the game would cost today. I may give my sat dish farm the '"day off".

You are right I looked it up today and FOX has stated they WILL NOT be broadcasting in 4K, even thought they will have 38 UHD camera's on site..

So it looks like the 4K broadcast will only be stadium feed ONLY... WHAT A BUMMER.. and used for super close up on replay.

I sure hope I am WRONG ... cause wanted to see the game in 4K...

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
