From the RTI teams site a new Blind Scan Plug in is available. Remember this is for images using the new kernel 3.3.1 only for the Me and MiniMe. It will work with the RTI E2's Open AZbox Mod firmware and the Persian Prince Betas. It should also run on the OpenRSI Beta versions. It is said to only work for Ku Blind Scanning at this point. I have not tried it so please use at your own risk.

If you are using AZtrino, RTI E2 Version 1.8.1, Spaze, or the original versions of OpenRSI it will not work as these use the old kernel.

Directions from the RTI site below:

Satscan (Blindscan) for Me and MiniMe.

To activate it please download directly from Plugins in Open AZBox MOD (Me, MiniMe) by this way:

menu --> plugins --> download plugins (green button) --> systemplugins --> satscan (v1) - BlindScan for AZBox Receivers

After download is done, please download file attached to this post (lib.ZIP), and transfer driver avl2108.ko to /lib/modules/3.3.1-opensat/extra/

After that reboot receiver, and You are ready to use Satscan (Blindscan) on Me and MiniMe.

Soon it will be available on GIT too.

BIG Thanks to the hard work of the RTI E2 team and all the other coders and teams who work tirelessly improving and developing firmware for the Me and MiniMe.

Emil

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
