Glad you got it working, Jim.  Dreambox Edit is pretty nice but it has too many bells and whistles for me.  I really don't understand all that namespace stuff.  Dreamset also has some quirks but seems to be more reliable when adding stuff like CBS.

Big_Hemi, you said you had the same problem with DWTS and KRBK feeds.  For more practice, could you give me the information for these services?  And any more that may be "hidden"?

Jim

Jim they're not "hidden" so to speak, the ME can't scan them in because of an issue in the latest kernel.  Other receivers such as the Linkbox9000i and the Wetek scan them in with a generic name.

The Dancing With The Stars feed is on Galaxy 19 (97W) a few hours before the live show starts
3960 V 32362 - SID 1

KRBK is on Galaxy 16 (99W) 24/7, although weak at times
3720 H 8702 SIDs 3, 4, and 5

EDIT:  Corrected the SIDs on KRBK

Thanks Big_Hemi!  I used "hidden" to indicate that the ME can not scan in the service, so to me it is hidden.  At least I can now add them once they are identified by others.  I guess I could try scanning them in using my Wetek Play.

As a side note, I have edited the satellites.xml file to describe two entries for each type of satellite.   I use a DSR 922 to drive my dish, so I used the latest MapMaster Maps that have H on channel 1 & V on channel 2 for all the satellites.  So it is easy to select H/V on the satellite I want.  The satellite.xml file has H & V entries for each satellite and band.  For example, Galaxy 19 C-Band H is at 89.0 deg (T5-1).  G-19 C-Band V is at 89.1 deg (T5-2).  G-19 Ku-Band H is at 89.2 deg (L5-1).  And G-19 Ku-Band V is at 89.3 deg (L5-2).  When scanning or switching satellites, you just select the correct H/V & Band.  Open ATV and Open SPA do not seem to care about the split and nicely keeps everything separate by satellite, band and polarity.  You need to start with a clean service list and scan in each satellites service.

It isn't  that the channels are hidden it's that they have no SDT (Service Description Table).  The CBS's, KRBK's, and some other feeds occasionally will need to be manually added.    I have those set to protected from updates once they are working by checking locked and unaffected by SDT in the editor on those channels.

I manually entered the KRBK and DWTS services.  Put them in the AZBoxME and the KRBK services work great.  I am sure the DWTS will be fine too.  Thanks again.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
