My remote is starting to fail, even after several cleanings. Is there a replacement remote available or any universal that will work with my Ultra? Thanks in advance!

I'm using an Elite, Premium and ME and the RC's working all on all the boxes. It's a personal thing but i prefer the ME RC ( although this one is more for the me i think ), then the Elite and then the Premium RC ( still a good one, but 2 big for me ). But all this is personal

That was going to be my suggestion.  You could likely get a Logitech Harmony remote that could run the receiver, tv, and G/V-box and stereo for about the same $30 at Walmart too.

That's exactly what I use - a 30 dollar Harmony remote purchased at Walmart. It even has codes for the AZbox Ultra defined in the software so I didn't have to use the learning mode.

I use an RCA RCRPO5B, which I found at RS.  It's a JP1.2 compatable remote that can be programmed via computer with a JP1.2 USB cable.  The remote is cheap, I think about $10 or $11.  The cost of the programming cable brings the cost up, but once you have the cable, you can program virtually any IR device into any JP1.2 remote.
Of course the problem with any remote like this is that you have to remember what button does what.

It's a Harmony 300. You program it through your computer with a usb cable that is included.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
