Now that all radio feeds are moving from 138w to 105w the new position makes it much easier for some people to receive myself included.  A problem with the Azbox can be that these feeds are AAC audio and will not play out of the HDMI cable.  There will be no audio.  But the audio does come out the optical output of the Azbox and can be heard with a home theaher receiver or other device with optical input. I just thought I might bring that up because in many posts it is said that Azbox cannot do this audio and this is the case unless you use the optical feature.  I think access to this kind of connection is much more common today for many people that it was back then when the Azbox was generally considered incapable.

I may have given fake news.  I tried last night to hear AAC audio through the optical output from an Azbox and it did not work!  I thought it worked the first time I tried it but I may have been wrong?

Yours was the first report of Azbox's being able to play these, but I didn't doubt you.  They certainly scan in to my Elite with no problems.  You realize the radio channels are only active when there is actual live programming occurring.  Are you sure the channels you checked were live?

I am fairly certain that there should have been audio on the channel I tried to listen to.  I plan to do more checking and will report back.  I was pretty sure that it worked when I tried it the first time but now I am not so sure.  I do realize that the Azbox can play some of the radio channels so it wasn't one of those. What I thought I did was hear a Reds baseball broadcast by using the optical output. The last time I tried it, I thought that maybe the silence was due to a long commercial break and I waited a while but no sound ever came...  I did not try a known active baseball broadcast the second time. Tonight, I will.

I tried again and I have to apologize because it appears I was wrong about being able to use the optical output on the Azbox to hear thes signals. Hope I did not waste anybody's time.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
