There are a lot of us that have known each other for years on this forum, and even on other forums. But for the most part very few of us have ever met other members face to face. We know each other by a name, know things about each others personal life and family, but yet we have never seen each other...and most likely never will. The Internet has shrunk the size of our world dramatically. I have been thinking about starting a thread where members who would like to participate could post a picture of themselves so that we could put a face with a name. If you would like to participate that is great and if you don't want to that's fine too. I'll start it off with a picture of me and my lovely bride Rachel.

The second pic was taken in April 1990 when I was working at a satellite dealership as a bench tech.

The third pic was from our wedding weekend in April 2005.

The fourth pic was taken at the Shelby Hamfest, September 2003...that's a custom designed 90cm Primestar.

The world is a lot smaller these days and finding information about things is so much easier and less time consuming.

This is me and my daughter Charlotte on the mighty Murray river near Yarrawonga this past weekend. (you can google it )

A current picture of me would break the forum.
However below is a picture taken before what I _THINK_  was the first NFL game I attended.  Back when the only satellite was the moon.   {The LAST game I attended was the Steelers vs the Frank Gifford Giants, which cost all of $1 to get in.}

EDIT:   After much searching, I did find 2 more recent pictures from 4 years ago, the last time we had a real winter here.  First, the view off a deck that's 10' above the ground, with me, on snow-shoes walking up the snow drift almost to the deck level. Then a picture of me digging out my outside fireplace that I use to boil maple syrup in the spring.  Fireplace buried in about 5' of snow.   This year, we only have about 7" of snow around the fireplace.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
