I have the non-blindscanning S2 tuner

I had tried 1229 and it was flakey, so I went back to 1217, which has been stable for me

Ok that answers questions about previous post`s in this thread.I tried 1229 with the same board you have and did not like either! Put the new board in tonight and 1226 blindscans S2 signals great! I suspect from past tinkering 1229 would give same results as 1226 with new board.

I am having the same problem with my older non blind scanning s2 board. I am not sure if I hooked it up right but I don't get any signal when I manually enter a transponder. I am running 1229. Any tips?

I tried to put it on here, first it wouldn't do anything
then I renamed the .BIN to .txt and it told me it's too big for an attachment (it's 1.24mb on the flash drive)
We'll have to do an email or use SKYPE
or maybe you know another way?

instead of renaming, ZIP it. (Right click, Send to, Compressed (zipped) Folder.  See if that will upload, No go -
Upload the zip file to one of the file sharing sites, Paste link here.
Or split the file into chunks and upload the chunks here.
http://www.filesplitter.org/ or  http://www.hjsplit.org/
Also inform as to which is used, don't think they are interchangeable.

OK, I tried this
I zipped the file, then tried to load it
tells me the file exceeds limits
still has 1.24mb when it zips

I know nothing about file sharing sites
could you suggest one please
I would rather not split it, I'm already over my head?

Thanks FatAir!

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
