Audio works perfect for me.  How do you have it hooked up to your TV and are you using a A/V receiver?

I don't use OpenElec for satellite channels at all but I have TV Headend setup for OTA and get Dolby Digital 5.1 that way.

If someone else is using it that way please chime in.

Emil, I just, with Darksky's help, loaded OpenELEC.  Can you tell me if there is a guide or tut to getting TV Headend setup on it to use with the ATSC tuner?  Thanks,

I wanted this to use the OpenELEC with the Wetek and it's ATSC tuner.

I have a few flavors... the newest is the Mint 17.2 MATE

It should be the same process as setting up XBMC / Kodi.

There is a tutorial for configuring DVB-T channels using TV Headend.  The difference would be you are using ATSC-North America when scanning and selecting the ATSC tuner.

I googled TV Headend install in OpenELEC when I configured mine and found one for satellite and it gave me enough information to adapt for ATSC.  It's not an easy process but at least you only have to do it once.

Here is a link to Wetek's Tutorial for DVB-T.

ahh, you've never configured XBMC/KODI? Sorry thought you had... fairly straight forward
once you have mythtv or tvheadend installed /configured. Amounts to having the right plugin installed and filling in a bunch of
required information about your backend database.

No, all i've done is configure for IPTV local play. This is making me dizzy..LOL!  Doesn't help that the "help" is a silent video with no docummentation... have to keep stepping through it to see what they did. I finally got to the point of configuring via the web/internet, and ran into a block because the box is not on the same 'net' as my computer, so I can call up the config page put have no access, because it's not authorized.... crazy, it's all in one little box..LOL, all I want to do is scan for ATSC channels, LOCALLY, not record anything or broadcast anything, just get it to tune my OTA channels..been fighting with it all afternoon...DarkSky was helping, but he had to go, so I kept on poking, but I think I'm done for today!!!  Thanks,
