No worries.

I've been looking a bit more at support for happauge ATSC sticks and probably have hit a dead end wrt to getting it to work with any E2 image.
the Sundtek ATCS USB sticks should work as they recode the ATSC stream and DVB-T and pretend to be DVB-T tuner, which should work with Azbox.

Do you have a tbs usb card that you want to test withe the me or mini? Or do you have a recording issue with minme or me Or do you just want to try out the kernel?
I and others will point you in the right direction .... just let us know what you want to test , try , or use  [smile]

I have a TBS5925 card to test with Me or Mini.

Goto daz's page and download his modded 3.92 kernel and image....either box. you can keep the image you have but still use the modded image. Setup the image  ..... Download and install the .ipk files...then plugin tbs card and restart the box...see if the tuner shows up.

Although it does so with some difficulty, since the USB TBS5925 now works with the AZBox Me, will the Me play those 4:2:2 H.264 channels it is unable to with the built-in tuner?

Sorry Rempfer..there is no consumer level box that will do 4:2:2 H264. Only commercial ones. The only way to do those signals is with a computer and tuner card.  Wish I had better news.

Yes, but my point was the TBS5925 will do it.  So you're saying it's the STB -- not the tuner -- that prevents playing 4:2:2 H.264 on a STB?

yes that is exactly it. AZme and any DVB S2 box will tune them....it is the processors that decode them and no non commercial stb can/will do it.

Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
