Been a long time since I loaded E2 so maybe things have improved but may I ask the advantage of running this firmware over stock?   In the past, E2 on Azobx had issues with many feeds including 4:2:2 and Bind scan didn't work very well.    Has this improved and/or what would be the reason for running this over factory firmware?

Enigma 2 firmware is suggested for the AZBOX ME and MiniMe's not all the other older models.  In the older models Enigma 2 has issues playing many HD feeds smoothly.   The Elite may work ok using Enigma 2 but your better off sticking to the original firmware.

Thanks EmilNJ.  How is the blindscan on the current versions of E2?

lilo74, Please don't take this the wrong way but other than TOS, what is the need for plug-ins?   There are far better options for accessing YouTube if that's honestly an interest.  Its great that there is continued firmware support but thus far it never seemed to add much.   Now if OpenESI can add support for 4:2:2 h.264 feeds I'm all in.  [wink]

Blind Scan on C-Band is  respectable speed wise and takes about 3 minutes a polarity on the ME depending on the satellite.  It does still scan in encrypted channels even if you select only FTA.  I haven't loaded Blind Scan NA yet.

For the older AZBOX's I can't comment and do not recommend Enigma 2 on them.

It is great that there is still support for some plugins like YouTube.  Just keep in mind that not everyone has a smart TV or a device like a Wetek Play that does YouTube and many other streaming apps.

Can't find the Time Zone settings on this image.  Audio PID change is not seamless as OpenSpa 5.06 and OpenATV 5.3, otherwise, so far so good.

Very cool.   How does it do with 4:2:2 feeds?

Good job on this ,in comparison with the Minime!  I added Blindscan-NA to openatv 5.3 yesterday.  Blindscan took 45 minutes and only found 17 channels.  This is on a one metre fixed dish aimed at 103 ku.

This plugin just doesn't work well with the Minime, unfortuneatly.  Not enough horsepower!

Thanks, lilo74.  I'll give it OpenESI 3.0 a try.

I would also like to ask if there's a plug-in for any of the AZBox Me firmwares that will play a DVD movie (from a USB-connected DVD drive)?  None of the media players I find in the 3.9.2 images I've tried brings up a DVD movie and/or menu properly.
