10.5 dB here now also, on the fixed Primestar antenna.
No change observed on 11760 or 11880.

Seems that 12080 is up and down on various days or at various times for whatever reason.

12080 signal seems much weaker overnight.
Currently only 8 dB and no lock here.

10.9 db s/n so no problem getting a good signal with steady lock this morning. Nice helo coptor view of traffic problems near Boston in the dark and very nice view watching the young blonde lady from NC-6 reading the news paper while awaiting her turn to go live.

Do you "think" the sat service guy needs to "drive up" to the sat in orbit and tune up something? I think you guys need a dish up grade on your end. Nothing wrong with the "blond view" from my equipment.

Finally getting a close up look at the Boston traffic problem and a semi with enclosed trailer is laying over on its side at a tight turn in the off road lane. It clipper a power pole and then flipped over to the inside of a very tight corner.

Mean while over at NC-6 the tight turns in white dress blonde has just returned to her chair in front of a close up camera. I nearly flipped over from the views of her getting settled back on her chair. She is now talking of market prices. She gave her report and again stood up and exposed more tight curves. I know now why the big truck flipped over. The front of the truck caught a large power pole and slid up the pole and a near by retaining wall. No more talk of tight turns and pole problems however the helo copter continues to send out video of the semi laid over. Lots of traffic with owners getting into work on a cold white morning near Boston. I have gone back looking for a blonde in white.

Thats good but if you get a chance bob maybe see at 8:30-9:00 am if you get more db. Can't see a rise in temp or any other reason signal climb at that time.

The blonde has just returned and the db is still the same at 10.9 however other things are raising some what now. No, not the turck as yet. The sat signal remains steady so far this morning. I wonder if during over night that power might be lowered some what from sats being they are battery powered and for several hours are not looking at the sun light for a recharge. (I feel some what recharged this morning and the sun is still not up in the Midwest yet) Just now went to 11.0 db s/n. Truck still on its side and the blondes chair is again empty. Traffic is still a morning mess near Boston missing use of that one off ramp. After the truck does get moved they still have to replace the broken power pole.

The "power level" of the received tp has improved by 2 dbm over the nearly past hour. It was -48 and now shows up at -45 dbm via EBSpro scan chart. This is what we need watch not the s/n end result. the other point is to watch all tp power levels. The 11760 signal is near normal I believe at -32 dbm. I think that is my normal high level for that signal. I can not ever remember any of my Ku signals getting stronger than the -30 dbm level.

still 14 dB on 11760 and 11880, but no lock on 12080, on the primestar antenna,
It is 6 dB down  from the other signals (presently @ -64 dBm), per satsignature.
Not worth wasting your time on that one.

Have a nice day.

I believe this power level difference is always there between the 11760 and the 12080 however it may change a few tenths over the 24 hours cycle. The issue is still many of you just barely have enough dish size thus you are subject to "any" decrease in signal strength or signal quality changes.

There is a little stronger signal at 12085 on the V side of this sat. I read it as 32APSK. If your skew is off a bit this can mess with the signal quality for the 12080 H mux channels. Again so easy to see the changes and bleed over from a miss adjusted skew via a spectrum analyzer. Not so easy to setup with only a receiver quality meter as a guide.

I still see the rf power levels the same as stated before for this sat position. S/n still at 17.9 and 11.0 while rf power level the same at -32 dbm and -45 dbm for 11760 and 12080 from the H side of the sat.

The 12080 H power level is now at -43.5 dbm and gives s/n of 13.6 db.
The 11760 tp is at -32 dbm power level and 17.9 s/n here.

Here went from 8.2 to 10.6 I understand a small tweak may fix it but the 4 channel mix stay'd at 11.2 and did not change.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
