I recently installed Engima2 on AzBox Minime and I am trying to program back my channels but when I’m scanning I don’t seem to be finding anything. I know that a signal is there because my other receiver is picking it up but the minime isn’t, it seems to searching for channels on Astra 19.2°E.I tried changing the satellite but I just can’t  or probably don’t know how.

Any advice??

The channel list file appear to be not a valid file.

Can you fix this?

I would like to know which channels have no SDT. Can you help?

Change .zip to .rar. Then unpack all the files to  new folder on computer desktop. All files are in it. Must use winrar       or 7zip          or something similar.

Point dreambox edit to the folder (File.....Open....desktop folder) on your desktop.

then FTP to azbox.

Setting up dreambox edit is a good idea. I have three boxes running Enigma 2...all different kernels and images. I can keep all of the channel lists exactly the same by just ftping from one and sending it to the rest. Makes life much easier.

While I didn't need or use it I downloaded the file anyway. It unzipped fine and also loaded in Dreambox edit fine.

I know it took me over a year to reply but that's how long I have given up on the minime but now I'm back working on it. I upgraded the enigma 2 to the latest version and I got dreambox edit to work and I got to  put mountaineer channel list into my minime.
Only thing now  I hit a bit of  a snag again I tried scanning to get my channels back but no nothing. No channels found and I know there are channels there because my other receivers are picking them up. I selected and scanning the right satellite on my receiver,my dish is in the right position,so I think its the minime ever since I got enigma 2 I never found a channel again. Any advice on how to get it work or how to revert it back to the original firmware.
Thanks in advance

are all of your LNBs set up correctly for your system? Check tuner config and make sure everything like LO, 22, and diseqc settings are correct. If you are using my stuff my setup is different than yours and the settings for the sats needs to be setup to fit your system.  That sounds like where your problem may be. Also check the coax and make sure that it is on the correct input on the back..I have made that mistake several times with minime. [smile]

I feel a bit foolish but I tried all day yesterday and I can't figure out how to edit it to my system. I am running HDMU Reloaded and there isn't much settings to change stuff. I only got service searching then there is tuner config and in there - there is Tuner A:Avalink AVL6211 DVB-S2 (DVB-S2) I can't change the Tuner but I can edit the certain settings in there but even when i change it to suit me and my system still when I scan for channels I can't find any.

I don't to take a sledgehammer to it but its making me want to.

I am think about putting it back to original firmware the one it came with I don't need all the added benefits for having a mod cause I can't even find channels but atleast with the OG firmware I found channels eventhough it froze alot.
I just tried doing this -------> http://files.websitetoolbox.com/32248/1335161 over a lan system but DMU Reloaded is still there.

If your Minime is the "American edition", it is impossible to go back to original firmware on your own.  If you are using blind scan with Enigma 2, it really doesn't work.  I just use manual scan and put in the transponders I want to scan.  But I only have two fixed dishes!

Edit:  my sats are KU;  I believe blindscan works okay with C-Band

Why is it impossible to go back to original firmware on your own?

It is easy to go back to original firmware.  The recovery switch was cut by the seller so you couldn't use it.  Open up the receiver and put in a jumper and you can load any firmware you want as long as it's for the MiniME.

Ku blind scan works but what it finds will be off by 150 Khz.  The NA Blind scan plugin was adapted for the ME which fixed that.  I'm not sure that it would work for the MiniME as I hadn't tried it.

I have tried both of El Bandido's blindscan plugins.  I know Babadem has had good luck on the Me, but for me, they would take about 35 minutes on 103 ku, and only get about 30% of channels (Minime).  Trying to load original firmware never worked for myself.  I have one of the first units which was never cut.  There was just a piece of black tape over the switch.  I'll give the original blindscan using 10600 low and see how it performs next week.  I haven't heard anybody able to load original firmware back.  I know scopus from the UK had to send his in to get the "American" firmware back, and he has a few AZboxes and other E2 receivers.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
