Hello,  These are breaking up for me and running the CPU at 75%.  Does anyone know why this signal is hard to pull in versus other signals?  I am using TBS6925, SmartDVB and LAV decoders on an Inbtel i7 4.2G processor.  Thanks for any tips.  Hunter

Hunter I have the same setup 6925, Smart, Lav with AMD and they are playing fine....cpu at 1 to 5% you might try tweaking your settings in Lav.

For 4K it's about the video card. You need something that can do 4K (Gtx 980 +). Also make sure desktop resolution is 2160p, otherwise you're working it overtime to down convert to 1080/etc

Thanks Chris and Roxmex for the suggestions!

Chris, can you please advise how to tweak the LAV settings and what to try?  I haven't found those settings yet.

Roxmex, my video card is GTX 1060, 6G  - will that work?  I also could not find where to set the diplay to 2160P, perhaps my Samsung 55" TV is capable, or did i miss something?  Thanks again all,  Hunter

Right-click on screen, Filters/Lav Video.. post a screen cap of that and somebody will be able to help you tweak those settings.

I'm no pro at these settings but the first thing I see is under Hardware Acceleration/Hardware Decoder to Use.. pull that drop-down box you should have nvidia listed there.. Click ok then you need to restart the video - probably easiest to restart Smartdvb.  Post back if that helps or not.

I set Hardware Acceleration to Nvidia and there was no differnce unfortunalte, but I assume I should keep this on. Is that correct?

Hunter here is what I have for 4K. This may or may not work for you. You can also try DXVA 2 copy back and than apply your card as the hardware. Make sure to restart Smart after changing settings.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
