When I try to switch from cband to ku band to do a blind search the linkbox has no problems but when I try to go back to cband it gets stuck on ku and won't switch. The linkbox thinks it's scanning cband and gives me sr that are in that range but it is actually still scanning ku transponders in. I have to power down the unit to get it to switch back to cband. I'm using a qualitv diseqc and after speaking with Rick i'm pretty sure it's a linkbox problem. Anybody else run across this problem? Any suggestions?

Well.i myself not a fan of switches, esp diseqc switches. All will drop signal some amount. And diseqc ones are picky/tempormental,or whatever u want to call it.Also easy to burn out.
But i have started using 22kz switches, only 2 inputs of course, but they work well.Of course cannot use them to switch to any of my Dual LNBF Charter Dishes, they use their on 22kz sw.
Great for C-Band....

Just my less than 2 cents worth.....

After reading some of the other post I think I found a solution for me. In antennae setup if it is left on polarity V, I have the switching problem but if I put polarity on H it switched fine. Anybody have an idea why that is? I switch the actual polarity with my 922 so I can just leave it on H in antennae setup. I would be curious if anybody else can duplicate what is happening to me?

Edit: it also won't switch on auto.

Good post.  Could not get the Ku-Band.  Order new C/Ku LNBF and Disecq switch from Rick.  Got the C Band to work but still can not get Ku Band.  This post and reference thread may point to the reason why I may have this problem.  When the rain stops and I have the time will investigate further.

After further testing I have to cycle through the polarity in the antennae setup screen to get it to switch back and forth between ku/cband properly. It seems that Rick fixed this issue on Capt Kurtz's box by doing a factory reset, so I think that's what I'm going to try. However I have a few questions.

I don't really care about my channels but I do want to back up my satellites, I went through and added the degrees and the tile that corresponds to my 922 to each satellite. Can I back those up on the hard drive I have connected to record with and if so how? Also, when I bought from Rick he already updated the firmware to the latest version, will I have to redo that after a factory reset?
