Leg pulling time again......

Wondering where you were on getting UDL's modules on your odroid. I got my odroid XU4 going today.

Here are some pics with compiling times for updateDVB, compiling showing all 8 processors maxing out when compiling updateDVB, 955Q tuned and playing and my EL_Cheapo usb dvb device tuned and playing.

Are you jealous?

Once again you've shown how sick you are my friend!  [smile]  Those are disgusting times 3 or 4, at least.

I packed my Odroid up a year or so ago and it's sitting in a zip lock bag.  I think the version I have is kinda left as forgotten and with a Pi2 and Pi3 to play with; I don't have the desire to tackle another project.  If I did, I'd play with the two TBS Matrix boxes that are also packed up.

On a happier note, I configured one of my Netboxes with 4.10.0 and UDL's goodies.  It does a nice job on updateDVB.  Next week it'll replace a Windoze 7 Netbox as the wife's DVR.  After she signs off on the replacement, I'll start playing with my spare LG G-pad 8.3 and hacking it using the Windoze Netbox.

It's either pull my hair out or go to the barber.

I keep my devices in a large coffee can. To tell you the truth I have not found any use for my little devices other than occuping my mind getting them going in my retirement years. After that they seem to mostly collect dust. I guess now I have run through my little gadgets and looking for something else to buy and play with .

The only little gadget I really use is my rtl-sdr. I listen to the radio and during storm season I listen to NOAA wearher. I also have it going as an APCO P25 trunked radio scanner. Most entities here are hooked up with a state wide trunking system.

Yup, you gotta keep the mind busy or it'll get soft.

One of these days I need to get that Chinese mini-puter installed as my firewall. That's a box with potential. 4 gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 usb 3.0 ports, and the power consumption is loooooowwwww.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
