I just did it with EBSpro and it works  like you had it  grab the pid 1032
But from your command prompt I'm guessing you need to be in the directory as Ipcleaner.

So when you  type "dir" it should bring up Ipcleaner.exe and firstDump.ts

I didn't understand whats going on with the CC.. \ things from your terminal

how do I select pid 1032 in EBS?  That confused me from the start. the check box should be checked, or not checked??

I think I see what you mean now... I have to issue the command from within that same directory, not just have the program there.. I was issuing the command from the command line but as you can see I put the full path in the line.  But Ipcleaner had to have run to issue the error that it couldn't open, you think it would have looked for the file someplace else??  doesn't make sense, gotta be something else, I think

I think just like you had it
ipcleaner.png

Did you get that error the first try?
Because when you run Ipcleaner it will produce a file like this "Dump_0408_sub001"

Now that  I have this "Dump_0408_sub001" but if I run Ipcleaner again using the same thing  "C:\\Ipcleaner infile=Dump.ts -pid=1032"  I get the error you have.

Maybe because the file is already there  the file .ext is "stream" although win7 doesn't show that part

Is there something you turned off to show all files? Wondering?

The error is likely due to the fact you didn't specify the full path for the file, so it's looking for firstDump.ts in the current directory (C:\Users\cc), which is the wrong location.

If IPCleaner is in the same folder as firstDump.ts, cd into that folder first, then run from that folder:
D:
cd \..thesave\ts-save
IPCleaner -infile=firstDump.ts -pid=1032

Alternatively, enter the full path to the file e.g. -infile=D:\..thesave\ts-save\firstDump.ts in your original command line (as shown in the screen grab)

Ya, I thought the same, and I did it again, but ebspro created a super-long file name with the location of the sat and everything..lol!  But I tried running the command from within that same directory, but I got errors and this time I think it was because of the file name.... but anyway, I'm learning, getting there, I see what to do, just need to get all the pieces in the right place at the right time.  I'll work on it again tomorrow...Thanks for the help [biggrin]

MIPS.... I copied and pasted what you wrote, and it worked, I think, IPcleaner ran and left me at the prompt without any note or comment, so I checked the folder...there is now a file called firstDump_0408_sub001.stream

that must have been just made... so it worked, now how do i play it...LOL!!

shift+right-click within the opened folder will give you the option to "open command line here"

Good Job! Its like a christmas present you don't know what you're going to get. Mips has spent alot of time on this to get it to were it is today . Amazing to me,  because if you try your play the recording before Ipcleaner it would not play.
Once you do it a couple of times its easy.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
