Just a general question/recomendation to the forum.
I currently use Pansat 9200 HD for veiwing. ( I have 2 in use for KU and Cband) Sometimes the units lockup.Sometimes I can't watch certain events that other reports due to their incapatibity with the feeds. I use them more as a hobby than my main form of TV reception ( have dish network). Was thinking of upgrading to a Manhattan reciever. Is the performance and operation more superior over the Pansat 9200 to justify upgrading?

I appreciate the feedback

I have a Pansat 9500.  It is easy to use and upgrade.  I had a 2600 before and I like the menu arangement.  I have two boxes conected at present, the 9500 and an AZ prem hd.  I use the 9500 to scan and then put the info into the AZ, which has no blind scan.  Jess

the pansat 9200 runs hot, and thats what usually causes the lockups. there are also certain feeds/ channels that will lock it up...

I use a laptop cooling pad on top of my pansat9200 to keep it running cool... i turned it upside down so the fans blow in from the top... it still locks up but not nearly as often. Im my opinion fw 1226 locks up less than fw 1229...

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
