i would hate to set you up for disappointment..there are some qam modulators on ebay for under $100.  maybe this is the better option for you..if you are not that strong with networking and not familiar with streaming software. but to answer your question, yes i am positive you can network your computer and dsr ird, if the firmware support it.

you have quite a few of these dsr-6050?  wanna sell one?

3840H SR 30000 5/6 8PSK -DVB-S2 (DC2). All 8 channels in mux are FP mode now. (Instead of the 1 channel for the last 4 weeks +).

No to the DVB-S2 question. Some commercial Motorola boxes can demod the DVB signals.

Notice that $1299 price tag. Gosh folks use to pay a lot to buy a way to watch subscription tv programs. When did we get so cheap?
I still  have the sat receiver I paid $1000 for to watch subscription tv programs. It is now a high quality worthless boat anchor.
I keep it around in case I ever buy a boat.

I have spent a lot of money on wine, women, and songs.
The rest of my wealth I have just wasted away watching free tv!
But a guy needs a good hobby.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
