Here is an interesting thing! I just connected my DSR 6000 to the feed and after running the setup, it is decoding just fine this program thru the monitor connections(sound and video). This unit was designed to do mpeg-2HD and it is running just fine the mpeg-4HD feed. I will have to find some time to setup the SEM-V8 to see if it is feeding thru the ASI or GIG-E connections.

so wait..you are watching the programs from the standard def video out?..thats brutal.
you dont need high speed INTERnet to have a high INTRAnet.

do you have a converter to make the audio unbalanced?

i think you should grab a gigabit switch and connect pc and dsr to it so you can get the 5.1 channel audio and high def video from the gig-e ports..or asi cards are pretty cheap also.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
