The ESPN channel is ESPN Australia.
I think this is the schedule:

Times are Australian Eastern Time.

SatSignature shows a very weak signal at 4100H:

1. No doubt a result of the 10' dish in your sig line.
2. Great that you are getting enough signal for a solid lock, but I bet it's considerably lower than the other frequencies on G13.
3. The signal being at 4100H, at the upper end of the C band, helps because dish beamwidth is an inverse function of frequency.
The smaller the beamwidth, the less interference from other satellites, and the higher the SNR.

I bet if we did a survey, those receiving the mux are using 10' or larger dishes, and/or are near the center of the footprint, and/or G13 is close to due south for them.

I am getting it at a strong 96% on the Linkbox and a mediocre 66% on the AZ Box Premium Plus with a 10 foot Channel Master solid. There is no doubt in my mind that I would not be getting it if I still had the 8ft solid or the 8 ft mesh dishes.

Dish Finder tells me my due south is Galaxy 17 at 91w, but Rick and Bill in Indy tell me it's SES 2 at 87w. I have a tendency to believe Rick and Bill.

I managed to scan in seven channels but with a very borderline signal. Just tells me my dish could use some realignment.

what's the deal with these asia/se asia/australia-nz signals?  CNN and HLN asia are scrambled on another satellite?  Is an asian big-wig visiting north america and wants his channels from back home?

A bit late to the party here, but robust signals here in NC on a 12' dish.

Just to be clear, by "very weak" I meant that SatSignature is showing 4100H a good -6dB (quarter power) below the Discovery mux at 4140H.
There is another signal on the other side of Discovery, at about 4169H, with similar power and a lower SR.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
