anyone able to lock this mux in the state of Alaska?  I can see 3777 on the spec analyzer and have about 8.5 dB on a 12 footer but can't lock it.  If this is the new Alaska mux location, I should receive it in the 49th state.  I get 19dB on the 139W mux

Not seeing it with my 7.5 hydro in Colorado. May have to push the 10 footer over.

Getting a lot of bleed over from 113w

If you are in Alaska and not receiving it, there might be a glimmer of hope some GCI headends can't either and GCI may have to look for a different distribution location (say G18 where I think a lot of their data/voice circuits already are located).

Looking at the BLSA scans of Galaxy 18 C band, it appears that all transponders are being used. There doesn't look to be any room to add their signal on Galaxy 18.

this is lockable here in Fl with a 10-ft dish, but I only had 22 channels scan in unlike Photoman with his 26 channels, all channels encrypted.

If cband is getting such a low signal in Alaska, which should be a hot spot of the footprint, either there is something wrong with his dish / alignment (more likely), or there is something wrong with the satellite (less likely). Perhaps the alignment ("attitude") of the satellite needs to be tweaked some more to place the footprint in its intended position - or perhaps cband's dish needs some adjustment?

Chopped down a tree yesterday and get 13 dB on the mux now and can scan in the mux.  Still not as strong as 139W but I bet the mux to stay put...

here is a update.

I just check this mux this morning and noticed its a few points higher on the AZbox. but I need to make a correction on my previous post, ""but I only had 22 channels scan in unlike Photoman with his 26 channels"". now 22 channels did scan in on my Vantage, but 26 channels scan in on the AZbox's along with other receivers I have here. so with that their must be 4 channels in that encrypted  mux that have AC3 audio, that's one of the bugs with the firm ware in the Vantage.

I tried again last night but am still getting bleed over from 113w and 116.8w.
You figure being just outside of the listed foot print I should be able to do better then someone in FL or IA.
Is it really going to take my 10 footer to hit this thing?

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
